During the COVID-19 pandemic, F1 faced one of its toughest challenges yet, pulling together a full season against all odds.
That became our brief. F1 and DHL wanted to take audiences behind the scenes to show how it was all made possible.
Working to a tight deadline, we immersed ourselves in the worlds of F1 and DHL. After gaining a deep understanding of both brands, we developed a script and a single frame that captured the intended look and feel. F1 loved the concept, and from there the project gained real momentum. We moved seamlessly through storyboarding, illustration, filming and editing, collaborating closely with F1 and DHL at every stage.
To streamline production and maintain consistency under pressure, we turned to expression based animation. Procedural workflows allowed us to create the calendar and flag icons efficiently, ensuring precision across every element. Strong discipline and collaboration were key to delivering a project of this scale, a true team effort that brought the story of F1 and DHL to life.




The project was a great success, with both F1 and DHL thrilled by the final film. It captured the spirit of their partnership and the challenges of the season with authenticity and energy. The positive response led to an ongoing collaboration, opening the door to more creative opportunities with F1 and marking the start of a lasting relationship built on trust and shared vision.
